King Tiger E316L — Corrosion-Resistant Stainless Electrode 316 (AWS A5.4 E316L)

HAKUDO E316L is a molybdenum-bearing stainless electrode for high-corrosion service — chlorides, seawater, and acids. 2–3% Mo gives pitting resistance (PREN ≥ 26); low carbon resists intergranular corrosion.

Best for: marine and coastal structures, chemical tanks and piping, seawater handling, urea and high-end pharma, pulp & paper. Higher corrosion life than E308L.

Welding data

AC / DC+. Current: 2.5 mm 60–80 A · 3.2 mm 80–110 A · 4.0 mm 110–150 A · 5.0 mm 150–200 A. Control heat input to avoid sigma phase.
